3rd Germany-China Brand Summit to Open in Berlin This December, Focusing on Brand Globalization in the AI Era

The 3rd Germany-China Brand Summit, jointly hosted by the General Manager's Office of China Media Group, the German University of Applied Sciences for Brand Management, the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) and the International Academy of Brand Science, will open on 14 December 2026 at the AXICA International Conference Centre in Berlin. Themed Brand Building in the AI Era, the summit is designed as a high-level, practical platform for international exchange and cooperation between China and German-speaking countries including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The summit will bring together government representatives from China, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other German-speaking regions, together with industry-leading enterprises, AI innovation institutions, representatives of overseas Chinese business communities, leading industry experts and major Chinese and international media. On-site attendance is expected to reach 500 to 800 participants.

The programme is organised around three main sections: the opening ceremony, the main forum, and dedicated business matchmaking sessions. The opening ceremony will unveil a comparative research report on Chinese and German brands, issue an initiative for sustainable brand development in the AI era, and host a signing ceremony for cooperation projects between Chinese and international companies. The main forum will feature keynote speeches and high-level dialogues on frontier topics including how AI is reshaping brand competition, Industry 4.0 digital transformation, multilingual AIGC in cross-cultural brand communication, and the global expansion of overseas Chinese enterprises, alongside one-to-one industry matchmaking sessions designed to connect supply and demand efficiently. The summit is organised by Shangdao Zhilian (Shanghai) Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and the Eurasian Brand Economy Cooperation Promotion Association (EBC).

By working with Germany's national-level trade and brand authorities, the summit brings together China's high-end manufacturing sector, AI companies expanding overseas, and the global overseas-Chinese business community to drive practical cooperation across artificial intelligence, brand building, advanced manufacturing and cross-border trade. The event continues to deepen two-way industrial and cultural exchange between China and the German-speaking world, supporting high-quality global growth for brands on both sides.
